When restoring damaged photographs, there are no automated processes. Sometimes, due to the extent of the damage, even colour photos end up having to be colourised to some degree. Despite this challenge, we try to retrieve as many details from the original image to ensure that it’s as true to the moment as possible.

We can remove, replace, and insert new elements into photographs. The extent of the modifications are limited by time and the content of the photos, but most things are possible. Often a restoration can be improved by providing relevant reference photos.

Black and white photographs can be digitally hand-painted to breath new life into old memories. The colours can be provided with a reference image, arranged by the artist, or determined during consultation.

We’ll work with you in creating the right colours for each photo.
